More info about joining our online Firm Roots monthly prayer group
These are very easy to join. We use Google Meet, which is similar to Zoom, if you have experience of that. But we think this is simpler: you don’t need to install any software, and we have no time restriction.
All you need to do is click on / select the link we will email you. You can use a smartphone (Apple or any brand of Android), or a tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
Here are a few tips to get the best out of your experience. If you can, you may want to print these or have them open on a second device.
- If it’s a phone or tablet, find a way of propping it up so you don’t have to hold it for 90 minutes. A couple of books behind might help.
- It is best if the screen can be sideways – like a TV shape
- Don’t have it too far away, or your voice will be harder to hear. Try to fill most of the screen with your head and upper body.
- Make sure some light falls on your face – video needs light! If there is more light behind you than on you face– you will be too hard to see. So don’t with a window behind in daylight, for example
